The Rural Industries Development Association (RIDA) is an organization of non-political, non-sectarian, non-profit making and non-governmental managed by a group of eminent Social workers to take up various activities for the welfare of the most disadvantage people in the state of Manipur without caste and creed. The organization is registered under Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989, Government of Manipur, bearing Registered No. 51 of 1990, Registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation)Act, 1076, Government of India, registered under All Manipur NGOs Forum and All Manipur Social Welfare NGOs Forum. Since inception working in the field of Health and Sanitation. Aged Welfare, Cild Welfare, Environment Issues, Common Issues and other development activities in rural remote area in the state of Manipur. It has conducted an extensive based-line survey assessing the actual needs and problems of the problems of the people of the area with the local public at grass root level participation and tempted to implement various need-base project/programmes accordingly with the ultimately aim to bring self-reliance among the target group. During the year 2023-2024 the organization has taken up some basis programmes to support the socio-economic development of rural and backward groups by providing them awareness progamme, skill development programme, vocational training programme and youths & women empowerment programmes with the full involvement of the villagers, executive committee members and staff personals of the organization and under taken the following activities. |
